How to read this page
KR and TW launched in November 2025, about 10.5 months before Global. Their content is ahead. This page shows what they already have, so you can see what might come to Global.
- 🇰🇷 Every item below is KR/TW data.
- None of it has a Global release date.
- Names marked “unofficial” are our translations until NC publishes Global names.
What is Chapter 1?
Chapter 1 is the big KR/TW update of July 1, 2026. Its Korean title is 모래와 서리의 땅 (literally “Land of Sand and Frost”); the TW title is 沙霜之地. “Lands of Sand and Snow” is a community translation.

Brawler (KR/TW only)
The Brawler is the 9th class in KR and TW. It fights with gauntlet-type weapons. Global has no official English name for it yet. We keep a preview page at Brawler, labelled KR/TW.
Eltnen and Morheim
In KR, players reach the new regions through a portal after the hero quests in Verteron or Altgard. The portal checks level, item level and combat power; for moving between legion hideouts KR/TW list Lv. 45, item level 3,300 and combat power 270,000. These thresholds use the KR item level scale and may not translate one-to-one to Global. Details: Level 50, Eltnen and Morheim.
After Chapter 1
KR kept updating. On August 12, 2026 KR opened a new Expedition with an entry level of 50. So even after a Chapter 1-style update reaches Global, KR will likely still be ahead.
KR timeline: what came after launch
KR and TW get a patch almost every Wednesday. These are the milestones that matter most for Global players, from the official KR/TW update notes:

FAQ
When is Brawler coming to AION 2 Global?
NC has not announced a date. Brawler has existed in KR and TW since July 1, 2026. Community estimates of ‘about six months’ are not official.
Is ‘Brawler’ the official English name?
Not yet. The class is 권성 in KR and 拳星 in TW. ‘Brawler’ and ‘Fistmaster’ are community translations until NC names it in Global.
Will the Global level cap go to 50?
It did in KR and TW with Chapter 1. Global Season 1 caps at 45, and NC has not announced when or whether Global gets level 50.
What are Eltnen and Morheim?
New regions added in KR/TW Chapter 1: Eltnen for Elyos and Morheim for Asmodians. They opened in two parts and require Lv. 45 plus item level and combat power thresholds in KR.
Does Global have the Chaotic Abyss?
Only its lower layer, Chaotic Lower Reshanta. KR added a Chaotic Middle layer (April 2026) and an Abyss surface for lower gear (July 2026); neither is announced for Global.
Will Global get the same patches as KR?
Not necessarily in the same form. Global already differs in prices and some systems. Treat KR patches as a preview, not a promise.
