Which regions does AION 2 Global have?

When you start the game, you pick a region, then a faction, then a server. The Global launcher offers 5 regions:

How do servers and factions work?

Every server belongs to one faction: Elyos or Asmodians. Each Elyos server is paired with an Asmodian server. When you enter the Abyss or a Spacetime Rift, the enemy players you meet come from your paired server.

Pairings are not permanent. NC says it will re-pair servers from time to time to keep the factions balanced.

Instanced content is cross-server. Dungeons and other instances match players from many servers. This is why NC recommends joining new servers when your favorite one is full.

Launch servers by region

NC opened two groups of servers: Early Access servers (opened on September 30 for Founder’s Pack buyers) and Launch servers (added for the October 5 launch and after). The tables below list the Launch server pairs as published on the official server notice. Elyos is listed first.

Europe: Nania vs Hadala, Tahavatha vs Ludra, Luteros vs Ulgorn, Phernos vs Munin, Daminu vs Odar, Kasaka vs Zemurru, Bakarma vs Kromede, Tsenka vs Quai, Kochi vs Baba, Ishtar vs Fafnir, Tiamat vs Indnath, Gauss vs Agnita, Lamuatan vs Atiel, Nathara vs Tassin.

NA East: Kaisinel vs Lumiel, Yustiel vs Marchutan, Ariel vs Azphel, Fregion vs Ereshkigal, Meslamtaeda vs Beritra, Hithanya vs Nemon.

NA West: Vaizel vs Triniel, Kaisinel vs Lumiel, Yustiel vs Marchutan.

Latin America: Vaizel vs Triniel, Kaisinel vs Lumiel, Yustiel vs Marchutan, Ariel vs Azphel.

ASIA: Kaisinel vs Lumiel, Yustiel vs Marchutan, Ariel vs Azphel, Fregion vs Ereshkigal, Meslamtaeda vs Beritra, Hitani vs Nemon.

Server names repeat across regions. A “Kaisinel” in Europe and a “Kaisinel” in NA East are different servers. NC updates this list in the original notice, so check it before you create a character.

Early Access servers in every region use the pairs Siel vs Israphel, Nezekan vs Zikel and so on. Europe has 9 Early Access pairs, NA East 3, ASIA 3, NA West 2 and Latin America 2.

How do I pick a server?

1. Choose the region with the lowest distance to you. Lower distance means lower ping. See Ping and connection.
2. Choose your faction first, because a server holds only one faction.
3. If your friends already play, join their server and faction.
4. If the server has a queue, pick a recommended or newer server. Instanced content is cross-server anyway.

Can I change servers later?

Yes, during transfer windows. The first window runs from October 14 to October 27, 2026: Early Access servers in the first week, Launch servers in the second week. Transfers are free in this period. They work only within the same region and the same faction, and only once per account. Early Access servers can transfer only to other Early Access servers. In which countries is AION 2 available on Steam?

We checked the Steam store API for app 3393110 on October 15, 2026:
