Abyss guide: points, ranks and rewards

The Abyss is the war zone between the Elyos and Asmodian worlds. On Global Season 1 it is Chaotic Lower Reshanta. This page covers how to get in, what Abyss Points and ranks are, and what they buy. For the zone itself — map areas, monsters, bosses — see Chaotic Lower Reshanta.

Who do you fight in the Abyss?

• Each server belongs to one faction and is paired with an opposing-faction server — [Official].

Contradiction: older guides say you can bank 28–30 hours with recharge items. NC’s Oct 14 patch caps accumulated entry time at 7 hours, so those numbers are outdated.

What are Abyss Points (AP) and how do you earn them?

Abyss Points are the Abyss currency. You earn them from both PvE and PvP — [Community ×3]:

• monster kills and quests in the Abyss;
• PvP kills of the enemy faction;
• Artifact Siege and Abyss bosses;
• Arena and Battlefield matches (see Arenas and Battlefields);
• Spacetime Rifts — the only trickle left once you hit your caps — [Community ×3].

Caps: AP from PvE and from PvP each have a weekly limit, plus a season limit — [Community ×3]. NC has not published the Global numbers: pending verification. Duty Missions pay 1,000 AP each, 5 per day per server — [Single source].

For comparison, KR used 200,000 PvE + 200,000 PvP per week and 2,500,000 per season in Dec 2025, then switched to a single 400,000 per week — [KR/TW]. Do not assume Global uses the same values.

What do Abyss Points buy?

The Abyss Trade Shop has tabs for consumables, progress items, skins, wings and medals — [Single source]. Key items:

How do Abyss ranks work?

• Ranks are assigned per class, from your place in the class ranking and your Rank Points — [Community ×2].
• Rank Points are not Abyss Points. They keep growing after you hit the AP season limit — [Community ×2].
• Each rank gives a seasonal title, for example “Abyss [Season 1] Commander” — [Single source].

KR Season 4 uses higher values and wider bands (Supreme Commander 25,000,000 RP) — [KR/TW]. On KR, dying in PvP costs Rank Points; KR halved that loss in Dec 2025 — [KR/TW].

Global vs KR/TW

• KR added Chaotic Lower Ereshuranta in May 2026 and a Chaotic Abyss middle layer in Aug 2026 — [KR/TW].
• Middle Reshanta appears in some Global guides with Lv. 80 bosses, which does not fit the Global cap of 45. We treat it as KR data until NC confirms it for Global.
