For all form submissions and votes we store your IP address only as a salted one-way hash. It is used for spam protection and rate limits (for example, one vote per fact per day). We cannot turn the hash back into your IP address.
We do not ask for your name, account or e-mail to use the site. Optional contact details are used only to reply to your report.
Data stored in your browser
Tools such as the map, timers, daily checklist and build planner save your settings and progress in your browser’s local storage (for example, collected map points, ticked tasks, theme). This data stays on your device; we do not receive it. You can delete it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
