In plain words: most Kina you farm is locked to your character. It still pays for upgrades. To get Kina other players can use, you sell things on the Market.

A simple weekly Kina routine

  1. Do all Duties every day.
  2. Spend Odyle Energy on Expedition Conquest cubes, not only on gear runs.
  3. Use your Daily Dungeon entries (14 per week per server).
  4. Clear new Sealed Dungeons while leveling alts.
  5. Sell spare materials and gear on the Market if you have a membership.
  6. Do not buy expensive event items you do not need.

Why not buy Kina?

  • NC’s Oct 4 notice: buying Kina or Quna from unauthorized parties violates the Terms of Service and can end your access to the game — [Official].

FAQ

What is the fastest way to farm Kina in AION 2?

There is no official answer. One detailed guide estimates 3–4 million Kina per week from Duties plus Expedition Conquest before the Abyss, Market sales and alts. Treat it as an estimate.

What is Kina (Bound)?

Kina locked to your character. You can use it for NPC purchases, enhancement and fees, but not on the Market. The split started on KR/TW in March 2026 as an anti-bot measure.

Is it Kina or Kinah?

NC’s English texts write “Kina”. Many players, and NC’s German, French, Spanish and Portuguese texts, write “Kinah”. It is the same currency.

Can I sell items for Kina without a membership?

Sources disagree. One guide says free players can list items; two say selling also needs Special Quai Membership. Buying needs a membership in all sources.

Is there a daily Kina cap?

One guide reports a cap of 1,000,000 Kina per character per day from open-world farming. It is single-source and pending verification.

Is buying Kina safe?

No. NC warns that buying Kina or Quna from unauthorized sellers violates the Terms of Service and can lead to losing access to the game. NC restricted over 32,000 accounts in four notices from Oct 11 to Oct 16, 2026.
