PvP in AION 2 is a war between two factions, the Elyos and the Asmodians. Each Global server holds one faction and is paired with a server of the other — [Official]. That pairing decides who you meet in the Abyss and in Spacetime Rifts.

What do you get from PvP?
- Abyss Points (AP): the PvP currency. Best early buy: Stigma Shards — [Community ×2]. See the Abyss guide.
- Rank and titles: 19 Abyss ranks per class, from Trainee to Supreme Commander, with seasonal titles — [Community ×2].
- Arena tiers: Iron to Challenger, with a small PvP buff by grade — [Community ×2] / [Single source].
- PvP stats: the Azphel (PvP) Daevanion board and the Ereshkigal Monolith add PvP-only stats — [Community ×2].
A weekly PvP routine
- Arenas: 30 wins in Solitude or Cooperation.
- Battlefield: 3 wins in the daily windows.
- Abyss: spend your 7 hours around Artifact Siege and the boss spawns.
- Rifts: for rift quests, or extra AP once you are capped.
- Spend AP before the season cap makes extra AP useless.
Use the timers for siege, Battlefield and rift times in your time zone.

Global vs KR/TW

FAQ
Does AION 2 have PvP?
Yes. Global has the Abyss war zone, matchmade Arenas, a 10v10 Battlefield and open-world invasions through Spacetime Rifts. All unlock at Lv. 45.
Is AION 2 open-world PvP forced?
No. Outside the Abyss you only fight other players in Spacetime Rifts with War Mode on, according to two guides. The Abyss is a PvP zone by design.
Which PvP mode should I start with?
Arenas and the Battlefield need no Abyss time and pay Abyss Points quickly. Enter the Abyss once you reach item level 1,000.
Is there large-scale ZvZ?
Yes: Artifact Siege in the Abyss three times a week, where both factions fight over three artifacts.
Do I need a membership for PvP?
No. A membership doubles weekly Abyss time (14 instead of 7 hours, community), but every mode is open without it.
