Which languages does AION 2 Global support?
We checked the Steam store data and NC’s launch FAQ on October 15, 2026. Both give the same list.

Which languages are missing?
- Chinese (Simplified or Traditional): not in Global. Some fan sites claimed otherwise; the official lists do not include it. The Steam page has a Simplified Chinese store description, but that is marketing text, not a client language.
- Turkish and Polish: not available.
- Latin American Spanish: only Spain’s Spanish is listed.
Traditional Chinese is the language of the separate TW service. Korean is also the language of the separate KR service. Those are different games with separate accounts. See Global vs KR/TW.
How do I change the language?
- Start the game and enter the world.
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner to open Settings.
- Open the Language tab.
- Choose your language from the list.
Official website languages
The official Global website, aion2.plaync.com, is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese. The Russian address redirects to English. The Korean section of the site belongs to the KR service, not Global. NC therefore publishes no official Global patch notes in Russian or Korean.
What about fan translation patches?
Fan patches that add languages change the game client. NC’s Operation Policy lists modifying or tampering with client or server programs among actions that can lead to an account ban. We do not link such patches. If your language is missing, the safest option is to play in a supported language and use our multilingual glossary for official names.
FAQ
Is AION 2 in English?
Yes. The Global version has a full English interface and full English voice-over.
Does AION 2 have Russian?
Yes, as an interface and subtitle language. There is no Russian voice-over and no Russian version of the official website.
Is there a Chinese version of AION 2 Global?
No. Global has no Chinese client language. Traditional Chinese is the language of the separate TW service; a CN version is planned with Shengqu Games but has no date.
Is there Turkish or Polish?
No. Neither language appears in the Steam language list or the official FAQ as of October 15, 2026.
How do I change the language to English?
Open the game, click the gear icon in the top right corner to open Settings, open the language tab and pick English.
Are fan translation patches safe?
They modify the client, and NC’s Operation Policy lists modifying or tampering with the client as a sanction reason. We do not recommend or link them.
