What is the Special Quai Membership?
AION 2 Global is free to play. The Special Quai Membership is NC’s optional subscription. It mostly unlocks access to the player economy: buying and selling between players and exchanging Kina for Quna.

Before launch NC adjusted the product: the price moved from $15.00 to $14.99, the World Exchange feature was removed, and the Shugo Festa Key limit was raised.

How do the purchase rules work?
- Buy the membership, then press Activate. The 30 days start at activation.
- Each extra purchase adds 30 more days.
- You can buy only while fewer than 60 days remain on each benefit.
- You can buy at most 3 times per server per month.
- Remaining time is shown in the Subscribe menu.
Who needs it?
You likely need it if you:
- want to sell drops or crafted items for Kina on the Market;
- want to buy gear or materials from other players;
- plan to convert Kina into Quna for shop items;
- run Expedition, Transcendence or Sanctuary often and want more Odyle Energy rewards.
You can skip it if you:
- are still leveling and learning the game;
- play mostly solo story and dungeons and do not trade;
- only want cosmetics, which you buy with Quna.
Note that player-to-player trading is limited by design. During the September test NC disabled direct trades as an anti-bot measure and made the Market the central trading hub. That is why trading features sit behind the membership.

How much is the AION 2 subscription?
The Special Quai Membership costs $14.99 for 30 days. Prices in other currencies depend on the exchange rate and the store.
Is AION 2 subscription based?
No. NC describes AION 2 as free to play with an optional monthly membership.
Can I use the Market without membership?
No. Without membership you cannot list or buy items on the Market or the World Market.
Does membership work on all my servers?
No. It covers all characters on the server where you bought it. A character on another server needs its own membership.
Does Personal Trade need membership on both sides?
Yes. NC says the other player must also have an active Special Quai Membership.
What happens to membership if I transfer servers?
It moves to the target server and is combined with any membership you already have there.
