Official prices you should know
Quna is the premium currency. NC lists these packs (PURPLE prices; Steam prices may vary):

Examples of what Quna buys at the Tsenka Merchants: a Resurrection Spiritstone for 100 Quna, a Key: Hidden Cube for 50 Quna (3 per day), a Cube Expansion Voucher for 200 Quna and a Name Change Voucher for 500 Quna.
The AION 2 Season 1 Starter costs $19.99 once per character. It contains a facewear skin, 4 Cube Expansion Vouchers, 10 Key: Hidden Cube, 50 Resurrection Spiritstones, consumables and 5,000 Superior Power Shards.
New armor skin sets in October 2026 cost $29.99 each.
A battle pass (the Daeva Pass) also exists. NC has not published its Global price in the notices we reviewed.
What free players can still earn
- Launch rewards: every account that logs in before the December 1, 2026 maintenance gets pre-registration and wishlist rewards by mail.
- Events: the Halloween event (Oct 14 – Nov 4, 2026, CEST) has an event shop with Odyle Energy (Bound), Lower Abyss Rift Stones and skin chests. The Conquerors of the Abyss event sells Abyss Rift Stones for 50,000 Kina.
- Twitch Drops: NC ran several campaigns with items such as Odyle Energy and skin chests. See coupon codes and Twitch Drops.
- Mileage: purchases earn Mileage, which buys items in the A2 Mileage shop. This applies only if you spend money.
Is it worth playing without membership?
For leveling and learning the game: yes. The membership mainly matters once you want to trade. If you cannot sell on the Market, you depend on your own drops and crafting. That is slower but fully playable.

FAQ
Can you play AION 2 for free?
Yes. The game is free on Steam and PURPLE. You can level, run dungeons and fight in PvP without paying.
What do I lose without membership?
You cannot use the Market, the World Market, Personal Trade or the Kina–Quna exchange. You also miss the second Odyle Energy use on reward Cubes and some storage convenience.
Can free players sell items?
Not to other players through the Market. Without membership you cannot list items on the Market or the World Market.
How much does Quna cost?
NC lists 400 Quna for $5.99, 1,000 for $14.99, 2,000 for $29.99 and 4,000 for $59.99 (PURPLE prices; other stores may differ).
Can free players get Odyle Energy?
Yes, through events. For example, the Halloween event shop and Twitch Drops offered Odyle Energy (Bound).
