Wings guide

Wings are the signature of AION. In AION 2 they are also a collection: every wing you own adds a small permanent bonus, so it pays to collect them, not only to wear the best one. NC’s game page promises free flight over any terrain and “countless” wings to collect — [Official].

How do you unlock flight?

• Flight unlocks in the Poeta story, around the 5th quest. No trainer or purchase — [Community ×2].
• Controls: V deploys or stows wings; Shift is an airborne sprint that drains flight time faster — [Community ×2].
• Wings work in most outdoor zones but are restricted indoors and in dungeons — [Community ×2].
• First wings: Lesser Daeva Wings from a Lv. 5 episode quest. Equipped: HP +200; owned: Flight Power +2,000 — [Community ×2].

Wing count: 28 wings in client data vs 34 in another list — the difference is cosmetic Special wings. Both agree on 13 Unique, 7 Epic, 4 Rare and 1 Common.

Wing enhancement and Sealed Wings

• Rare and Epic wings always succeed when enhanced; Unique wings are safe to +3, then success drops from 90% at +4 to 30% at +10 — [Single source], pending verification.
• Sealed Wings → Enhance Stones: since Oct 7, this Substance Morph is limited to 20 per server per week — [Official]. Keep the wings you want for your collection before you morph the rest.

Tips

1. Unseal every dungeon wing you get at least once — the owned effect stays forever.
2. Spend festival and PvP currencies on wings after your Stigma and Daevanion priorities.
3. Look for Radiant Love Wings while hunting Hidden Cubes.
