Hidden Cubes are AION 2’s treasure hunt. They glow in hard-to-reach places across the open world and are not marked on the minimap. Opening them gives collection rewards, from Soul Crystals to rare wings.

How do keys work?

- Disputed: one guide says red cubes need a key and gold cubes open free; another says all Verteron and Altgard cubes need a key.

What is inside?
Reported rewards — [Community ×3]: Soul Crystal, Soul Codex, Silentium, Power Shards, Odyle Energy, pet souls, skins, Lucky Aura (including Unique) and, rarely, Radiant Love Wings (Unique). NC has not published drop rates.
Respawn time
There is no fixed timer. Cubes rotate between possible spots. KR players report respawns between 30 minutes and 3 hours — [KR/TW].
Where to look
Search tips agreed by several guides — [Community ×3]:
- Fly low along cliffs and under overhangs.
- Listen for the chime cubes make when you are close.
- Check underwater, for example the lakes of Cantas Valley in Verteron.
- Search ruins and dead ends.
- Dense areas: Ellun River Midstream, Altamia Canyon, Verteron Fortress Ruins and Fafnite Deposit.
