How the appearance editor is organized

NC advertises over 200 customization options — [Official]. A detailed community walkthrough lists 5 sections, used in this order — [Single source]:

1. Preset — starting looks you can edit further.
2. Face — shape, chin, cheeks, eyes, iris and pupil, nose, mouth, ears and more.
3. Hair — styles and a dye menu with two-tone dye.
4. Style — makeup, freckles, facial hair, tattoos, war paint, scars.
5. Body Shape — height, build, width and per-part controls.

Saving looks and the Style Shop

• Each character has 8 “My Appearance” slots and 8 Download Storage slots. Saves belong to the character, not the account — [Single source].
• NC runs an official Style Shop website where players publish and download appearances. Downloads arrive in Download Storage — [Official: mentioned in NC’s transfer Q&A]; [Single source: how-to details].
• One guide says applying a shared style needs a ticket or 600 Quna — [Single source, pending verification].

Mileage comes with paid shop purchases (for example, NC lists 4,350 Mileage with a $29.99 skin set) — [Official]. If you don’t buy anything, you will not collect Mileage quickly.

Tip: if a voucher has an expiry date, use it before it lapses. Backing out of the editor without confirming should keep your old look — [Single source].

Outfits are separate from the body

Your face and body come from the editor. Outfits are skins in the Closet; you can swap them freely. NC sells skin sets (for example $29.99 sets in the Oct 14 promotion) and gives some for free through events — [Official]. See AION 2 without membership for what you can get for free.

Practical advice

• Spend an extra 10 minutes on the face. Re-editing later costs a voucher.
• Save your look in a My Appearance slot before you confirm. It costs nothing.
• Pick a name you can live with: changes cost Quna or Mileage.
