AION 2 Daevanion boards explained: what they give and where points come from (Global)
Daevanion is AION 2’s board-based progression system. You spend points on connected nodes that give stats and raise skill levels. NC lists Daevanion as a core character system that moves with your character during server transfer.

When does Daevanion unlock?
- The first board opens at Lv. 12 — [Community ×2].
- One planner lists later boards opening at Lv. 20, 30, 40 and 45 — [Single source]. Treat these as a guide, not a rule.

Contradiction: one review and the GameWith planner do not show Ariel on Global, while Mein-MMO and a GamesFuze guide list it. We will update this table once the in-game board list is confirmed by players.
How do skill levels work?
Only the four normal boards raise skill levels. Filling them adds about +4 levels to every class skill — [Community ×2]. The PvE and PvP boards give stats only.
In plain words: the four main boards make your skills stronger; the two special boards make you tougher or harder-hitting in one type of content.
Where do Daevanion points and materials come from?

One source says Substance Morph turns fragments into crystals (10 fragments = 10% chance, 100 = guaranteed) — [Single source]. Node costs by grade (1 to 4 crystals) come from one planner — [Single source].
Can you reset Daevanion?
- KR/TW: board resets became free with the Jul 1, 2026 update, which also expanded the normal boards — [KR/TW].
- Global: sources disagree. One says resets cost Kina, one says they are almost free, one says choices look permanent. Status: unconfirmed.
Tip: until the Global cost is confirmed, plan your path in a planner before you spend points.
Beginner tips
- Spend normal-board points as soon as you get them; skill levels matter for every class.
- Do your side quests: they are the main early source of normal-board points.
- Ascension Trial (3 entries per week) feeds the PvE board — see PvE modes.
- Battlefield and the Abyss feed the PvP board — see Abyss & PvP modes.

How many Daevanion boards are there on Global?
Community guides list four normal boards (Nezekan, Zikel, Vaizel, Triniel) plus a PvP board (Azphel). Whether the PvE board (Ariel) is open on Global is disputed. Eight-board layouts you may see online describe the KR/TW version.
Can I reset Daevanion points?
On KR/TW resets are free since Jul 1, 2026. For Global, sources disagree (Kina cost, almost free, or permanent). Check the in-game reset window before you commit.
Where do I get Daevanion points?
Normal-board points come from side quests and Sealed Dungeons. Ariel materials come mainly from Ascension Trial; Azphel materials from Battlefield and Abyss Monolith upgrades.
