What do the notes mean?
NC added a note to each tier. On minimum hardware, set the graphics preset to Very Low when you play at Full HD (1920×1080). On recommended hardware, use Low at Full HD. In other words, the recommended tier is not a “max settings” tier. For higher presets you need stronger hardware than the table shows.
NC has not published official specs for higher presets, 1440p or 4K.
Do I need an SSD?
NC recommends one for both tiers. AION 2 is built on Unreal Engine 5 and streams a large open world. On a hard drive you may see longer loading times and texture pop-in.
AMD Radeon GPUs?
The Steam page lists only NVIDIA models. NC has not published AMD Radeon equivalents. We will not guess them here.
Unsupported setups
- Mac: no version.
- Linux and Steam Deck: NC says the game may run on other devices, but it supports only Windows PC via Steam and PURPLE.
- 32-bit Windows, Windows 7/8: not listed.
If the game runs poorly, see performance tips. If it does not start, see errors and fixes.
