AION 2 Halloween event 2026: Pumpkin Coins, rewards and Candy Keys

In short

• The Halloween event runs from the Oct 14 (CEST) maintenance until the Nov 4 (CET) maintenance; Nov 3 in PST.
• Earn Halloween Pumpkin Coins from a 14-day attendance (up to 620 coins) and weekly event missions.
• Spend coins at the Coin Merchant in each town: a Special Halloween Chest (250 coins), Odyle Energy, Abyss Rift Stones and more.
• Candy Key Fragments from Expedition and Transcendence craft Candy Keys that open candies in towns.
• Odyle Energy and Lower Abyss Rift Stones from the merchant require Lv. 45.

AION 2 Global’s first seasonal event started with the October 14 update. It runs from the maintenance of Oct 13 (PDT) / Oct 14 (CEST) until the maintenance of Nov 3 (PST) / Nov 4 (CET), 2026. The event currency is the Halloween Pumpkin Coin (Event).

How to earn Pumpkin Coins

1. Trick or Treat attendance (14 days). Open In-game menu → Attendance. You get 35 coins per day, and 100 coins on days 7 and 14. That is 620 coins for all 14 days.

2. Weekly event missions under Season Mission → Event. Each resets once per week per server.

Candy Keys

Expedition and Transcendence dungeons drop Candy Key Fragments (Event). Use Substance Morph to turn them into keys:

Key	Cost	Limit	Opens	Main contents
Red Candy Key	60 fragments	Once per week per server	Red Candy	20 Growth Pet Chests, 10 Battle Enhance Scrolls
Yellow Candy Key	60 fragments	Once per week per server	Yellow Candy	10,000 Abyss Points, 10 Life Crystals
Blue Candy Key	60 fragments	Once per week per server	Blue Candy	4 Odyle Energy, 10 Resurrection Spiritstones

Each candy also gives 5 Halloween Candy and 5 Halloween Cookies. Spare fragments convert to Superior Power Shards (1 fragment → 10 shards).

Suggested priority

1. Do the attendance every day; it is the largest coin source.
2. Buy the Special Halloween Chest once.
3. At Lv. 45, buy the weekly Odyle Energy and Lower Abyss Rift Stones.
4. Use the rest on consumables you actually use.

This is our suggestion, not an official recommendation. The same patch also started Conquerors of the Abyss: Abyss Rift Stones for 50,000 Kina in the Shop until Oct 27/28. See patch notes Oct 14.
